CBC has renewed the Nova Scotia-set drama series Black Harbour for a third year.

CBC also announced that the January telefilm Nothing Too Good For A Cowboy will become a weekly series next season. An adventure story about newlyweds ranching in the B.C. wilderness in the 1940s, Cowboy is based on the novels of Richmond P. Hobson, Jr.
Meanwhile, CTV has renewed rookie sci-fi series Gene Roddenberry's Earth: The Final Conflict for next year.
